CHURCH BACKGROUND:
Asuncion Foursquare Gospel Church was established in 1962 through the faithful obedience and commitment of its pioneering believers. Beginning with 30 pioneering members, the church was founded with a strong desire to proclaim the full Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve the community with love, faith, and compassion.The pioneering church was located at the humble home of Juan Motas Pate and Jovita Encomienda Pate. From its humble beginnings, the church has stood as a testimony of God’s faithfulness through the years. Guided by the Foursquare Gospel message that Jesus Christ is the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and the Soon-Coming King. The church has remained steadfast in its mission to nurture spiritual growth, train disciples, build strong Christian families, and reach souls for Christ.Through the years, the church has grown not only in number but also in spiritual depth and maturity. Anchored on biblical truth, we are committed to preaching His Gospel, nurturing disciples, and serving the community with love and compassion. Moreover, we believe that the church is not just a building but a family of believers united by faith, hope, and love.Today, the Asuncion Foursquare Gospel Church continues to grow spiritually and proclaim the Foursquare Doctrine that Jesus Christ is the Saviour, Baptizer of the Holy Spirit, Healer, and the soon Coming King. This church stands firm on the foundation set by Hebrews 13:8, which proclaims that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

FuentesPASTORS' BACKGROUNDOur pastors were faithfully assigned to Asuncion Foursquare Gospel Church on June 10, 2012, answering God’s call to shepherd the congregation with dedication, humility, and love. Since their arrival, they have continually demonstrated a heart for service, spiritual leadership, and commitment to the growth of the church and its members.Ps. Allan and Ps. Normelita Fuentes is blessed with two sons, Shammah Jay U. Fuentes and David Roy U. Fuentes, who are a source of joy and inspiration to their family and ministry.As a pastoral family, they exemplify a Christ-centered home, nurturing faith not only within their household but also among the church community they serve.Through the years, our pastors have remained steadfast in their mission to guide, encourage, and equip believers, trusting God’s grace in every season of ministry.
